“Vanna B”…From Top Model to Top Author! Damn She’s A Fuccing Hottie.

Today we bring to you a woman that not only possesses beauty, but brains to go along with it…Meet Vanna B…a former model, known as Vanna Black, now she’s an author and publisher of fiction novels. Vanna is the CEO of Hope Street Publishing and a native of Philadelphia PA. Vanna attended Temple University where she received her BA in Journalism. But while attending Temple University Vanna grinded hard as a model and was featured in magazines such as Maxim, King, Smooth, FHM, Blackmen, Complex, Lowrider, and Hype Hair. She also appeared in music videos by Mario, Bow Wow, Cassidy, Juvenile, Fabolous, and Young Jeezy. But Vanna always knew that she was more than a pretty face, so she began her professional writing career because modeling wasn’t her passion. Her writing started with newspapers and magazines, where she served as a restaurant reviewer, proof reader, advice columnist, and staff writer. Vanna covered a range of topics including current events, local politics, and culture. She began writing her 1st urban novel, Fancy, after she decided to leave the workforce to raise her son. Fancy, became a huge success for Vanna landing on Amazon Kindle best sellers list in multiple categories. It earned Vanna the 2012 Philly Hip Hop award for “Best Author”. In 2013 her novels Fancy 2, Knock-off Nina, and the paranormal erotica series “The Succubus” also made the Kindle best sellers list, and Vanna was nominated for 2 AAMBC Awards as well as 2 Urban Literary Awards.
