Stop The Violence: 19-Year-Old Mom Gunned Down In Drive By While Putting Her 11-Month-Old Son In Car!!!

This is a horrible way to start the new year.

According to NY Daily News reports:

Nicole Grier, 19, was strapping the child into her car on Northwest 18th St. in Lauderhill about 6:30 p.m. Monday when gunmen riding in a sedan with tinted windows pulled up and opened fire, NBC Miami reported.

The babysitter, Camille Watkins, said she was in the shower when she heard five or six shots, the station reported.

She ran outside to find Grier bleeding in her driveway and her son screaming nearby.

“Someone else called 911, and I just kept telling her to hold on, hold on,” Watkins said.

Grier was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Police don’t have any suspects, but were hunting for the shooter’s car, described as a dark Infiniti or Lexus with tinted windows.

A $3,000 reward has been offered for information leading to the killers.

Meanwhile, Grier’s loved ones were struggling to pay for her funeral and held a fundraiser on Wednesday night to help offset the costs.

“It hurts,” Grier’s father, Keith Bosket, told NBC Miami at the event, where friends and family sold food and T-shirts paying tribute to the slain mom.

“We’re just coping with it. That’s all we can do.”
Grier’s mother, Tamala Watson, angrily pleaded for the shooters to turn themselves in.

“You left an 11-month-old baby without a mother,” Watson said. “Someone took her life for nothing.”

So sad, that poor little boy will have to grow up never knowing his mom. We’re praying they catch they catch those fuccing cowards who did this to her so justice may be served.
