DJ Drama Joins A&R Team At Atlantic Record

       (Street Life City News) The man behind Gangsta Grillz mixtapes series is now the newest executive at Atlantic Records. DJ Drama has signed on to partner with the label’s A&R team.

“I’m extremely excited to embark on this new chapter in my relationship with Atlantic Records,” said Drama. “My first two albums as an artist were on Atlantic, and I’m now looking forward to working with Craig and Julie in a new capacity, helping them break the label’s next crop of amazing talent.”

DJ Drama’s debut album Gangsta Grillz: The Album and his sophomore project Gangsta Grillz: The Album Vol. 2 were released through Atlantic and T.I.’s Grand Hustle imprint. Besides his own work, Drama has helped craft mixtapes for Tip, Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, and many more.
