Weâre glad these two former enemies have gotten over their differences.
Rick Ross Says Young Jeezy Beef Was A Misunderstanding
Hopefully, other Hip Hop artists can learn itâs better to squash beef and get money instead of ending up like Biggie and Tupac.
According to Rolling Out:
Rick Ross and Jeezy fans were surprised when the two rappers, who had been feuding for years, finally set aside their differences. The pair appeared on the track âWar Ready,â a song slated to be included on Rossâ upcoming album, Mastermind. In a new interview with Huffington Post Live, Ross dismisses the bad blood as just âmisconfusion.â
âIt was a lot of misconfusion at the end of the day because me and him personally never had an issue and I think that was one of the reasons we were able to really resolve this problem because we never really personally had an issue,â Rick Ross says. âAmongst bosses, you know we like to call it âThat rapper stuff.â Real bosses get over that and thatâs what we did and Iâm happy we was able to do that and set the examples for some of the younger bosses thatâs coming up and let âem know itâs all about making that positive progress.â
âWe had past differences and you know we put that to the side, being true bosses, and to do something big for the culture, which is bigger than both of us,â Rick Ross explains. âHere we have it, âWar Ready.ââ
âMMG and Ricky Rozay, Iâm expanding and getting bigger every day,â he adds. âItâs a lot of other entrepreneurs thatâs doing the same and Jeezy is one, so it was just time for us to come together. Letâs capitalize and something big happen for the game, for Hip Hop for the culture and we may be doing something else. You never know.â
Do you think their truce will last?
