50 Cent: Kanye West’s “Yeezus” Was “Weird” & “Doesn’t Feel Like Hip Hop”

(Street Life City News) It’s 2014, but 50 Cent still has a lot to say about the music of the man he faced off against in a 2007 sales battle. In an interview with MTV News UK  the G-Unit leader shares his thoughts on Kanye West’s Yeezusalbum.

“He’s obviously a talent within our culture and is one of the driving forces of it, but some of that s**t is weird to me,” said 50.

He added, “It doesn’t feel like Hip Hop to me, it feels like a fusion of something else, like a weird combination of dance music sounds and stuff.”

The Queens rapper also says that Kanye is just being an artist, and people do not have to always agree with what an artist does.

50 Cent is preparing to release his own LP this summer. Animal Ambition is scheduled to hit stores on June 3rd.
