Jay Z And Carmelo Anthony Reportedly In Talks To Buy Hot 97

       Over the past several days, Hot 97 personality Funkmaster Flex had been on the attack against Jay-z Flex is also involved with the Dipset reunion, and we figured he was beefing with Hov to draw attention to his boys. (Dipset also dropped a Jay-z diss track over the weekend.) But we just got some new news that further complicates things. Media Takeout is reporting Jay Z is in talks to buy Hot 97.       According to a Rock Solid Source – Shawn “Jay Z” Carter along with a group of investors that includes NY Knicks star Carmelo Anthony are currently “negotiating to buy” Hot 97 radio station. Talks are still early, but we’re told that both sides have “hired lawyers” and investment bankers– and are serious in getting a deal done.        It’s doubtful that the deal is in such early stages that Jay Z initiated it just to spite Flex and his big mouth. It’s also doubtful that Flex didn’t know Hov was interested in becoming his new boss when he started ranting against him.

So this just makes Flex’s coming at Jay so hard that much more baffling. What do you think?
