Street Life City News– Once again the tandem of Rihanna and Drake hits the pinnacle of the Billboard Hot 100. After ruling the chart with “What’s My Name?” in 2010, Ri Ri and Drizzy land at #1 with “Work.”

“Work” marks Rihanna’s 14th Hot 100 chart topper. The Roc Nation singer now has 14 career #1 songs, moving her into third place alone behind The Beatles (20) and Mariah Carey (18).

Rihanna (born in Barbados) and Drake (born in Canada) also helped set a new record for the number of singles by non-Americans to consecutively maintain the top spot on the Hot 100. This makes the ninth straight non-American act to rule over the chart dating back to August 2015.
