Wu-Tang Album Owner Martin Shkreli Arrested for Securities Fraud

Brooklyn-bred pharmaceutical CEO Martin Shkreli has had one hell of a year. Aside from spiking up the price of a popular AIDS medication by 5500% ($13.50 to $750), Shkreli has received massive attention from the hip-hop world after it was revealed he purchased the Wu-Tang Clan’s secret album, Once Upon A Time In Shaolin, for $2 million. This morning however, the former CEO of Retrophin LLC was unwillingly thrust into the spotlight once again as he was arrested this morning on charges of securities fraud.
The F.B.I. picked up Shkreli early Thursday due to a case stemming from the biotechnology firm he started in 2011. The avid hip-hop fan was charged with taking stock from Retrophin to pay off several debts from other business dealings. The company’s board went on to sue Shkreli and take his CEO title away “because of serious concerns about his conduct.” If Shkreli is found guilty of the federal charges he may be banned from owning a public company, which could ultimately put one of his in jeopardy. When asked about Retrophin’s suing him for misuse of company funds, Shkreli stated, “The $65 million Retrophin wants from me would not dent me. I feel great. I’m licking my chops over the suits I’m going to file against them.”
Just yesterday Martin Shkreli offered jailed rapper Bobby Shmurda up to 4 million to help with his case in exchange for music. “I’m a fan and I’m a business man,” he told HipHopDX. “Look, the guy’s going to have to record for me if he comes out. I’ll just come out and say it…I’m not going to do this for free.”
Shkreli’s lawyer has not responded to requests for comments on the case, but he’s currently making headlines for his spike in legal fees. According to the New Yorker, Attorney Harland Dorrinson announced his fees have moved from $12K an hour to a costly $60,000. “Compared to what he pays for an hour of Wu-Tang Clan, sixty thou is a bargain,” he said after informing Shkreli of the fee increase. “This is the behavior of a sociopath,” Shkreli reportedly screamed after accusing Dorrinson of “outrageous and inhumane price gouging.”
Brooklyn U.S. Attorney Robert Capers will address the case during a press conference in Brooklyn later today.

Charlamagne to Stephon Marbury: Your Sneakers Are Not Fly
“Listen, I respect where Stephon Marbury’s heart is at as far as making affordable sneakers, but they[‘re] not fly. You[‘re] from the hood, Steph. You know that kids like fly s**t. So why [are] you giving kids these whack ass sneakers?”
Former NBA player Stephon Marbury had many up in arms when he bashed Michael Jordan and the Jordan Brand for “robbing kids” who buy their shoes. Radio host Charlamagne Tha God was asked how he felt about the comments and stated Marbury. “had the nerve to say that they’re made in the same factory as the Jordans.” “Well you need to go over to that factory and f**k some motherf**kers up, ’cause they’re making your s**t look terrible and they got Michael Jordan’s s**t looking amazing,” Charlamagne advised. “They got Lebron James and Kobe Bryant’s s**t looking amazing.”
“And guess what? You’ve caused violence with your sneakers, too,” he later added. “‘Cause I’ve seen kids cry ’cause they got a pair of Starbury’s.”
What do you think of Stephon’s sneakers?

Colombian Farmer Finds $600,000,000 Drug Money Buried In His Farm!

Pablo Escobar’s money is still popping up in 2015! The Colombian drug lord has become popular again in pop culture because of a new Netflix show based on the life of a DEA Agent that tried to bring him down. Now a 65 year old farmer named Jose Mariena Cartolos recently found $600,000,000 on his farm that is supposedly link to Pablo!
At the height of its power, Pablo Escobar’s drug cartel was smuggling fifteen tons of cocaine (worth more than half a billion dollars) into the United States every single day. He made so much money that he had to spend $1000 per week purchasing rubber bands to wrap the stacks of cash.
Pablo had so much money that he could not possibly spend it all. He had over 800 luxury mansions all over Colombia, owned football teams, he gave away billions of dollars to help build hospital’s, schools, work programs and even rebuilt entire ghettos for the poverty stricken people of Colombia.

Even with all that going on, he still had too much cash to hide. So he started to bury it all over Colombia. The location of each money pit was known by only Pablo and his three closest associates.
When Pablo was finally killed, the location of many of these money pits died with him. The CIA estimates there to be about 100 of these money pits that have yet to be discovered, each containing between five hundred million to one billion dollars.
Fast forward to today. Meet Jose Mariena Cartolos, a 65 year old farmer who recently received a $3000 grant from the Colombian government to help him start a palm oil plantation on land that has been in his family for over 200 years.
While digging the irrigation trench for the plantation, Jose discovered something big beneath his feet. After further excavation, Jose discovered several large blue containers with something incredible inside.
Money, not just a few hundred dollars, not even a million dollars, heck not even 100 million dollars. This 65 year old farmer with nothing but the shirt on his back had managed to find one of Pablo Escobar’s money pit’s containing a whopping $600,000,000. Yup thats right, six hundred million dollars.
It’s not clear what will happen to the money now, but many speculate that Jose Mariena Cartolos will not be allowed to keep the money, but it will most likely remain in Colombia and be used to fund social and economical programs that help those in poverty. This news will most likely create a modern day “Gold Rush” as people flock to the Colombian countryside with echo sounders and all kinds of scanning equipment, searching for more of Pablo Escobar’s hidden money pits.

LIL WAYNE’S CRIB GETS RAIDED BY POLICE

Lil Wayne had an unpleasant surprise Tuesday when police came to his Miami crib and bossed up on his possessions!
So do you remember when Wayne was sued by a private jet company for skipping out on the bill?
Well, they clapped back in a major way. They got the police to get a court order to seize some pricey items at his Miami pad, all to compensate for his debt!
So Weezy apparently had millions of dollars of artwork at the crib and they took that and some plaques, in hopes to get back the 2 million dollars he owed to Signature Group.Of course Wayne’s security tried to not let them in, but there was only so much they could do with the Po Po and court documents being waved in the air.
Wayne not only owes them the 2 million, but also has to cough up 2ook for their lawyer fees!
Yikes! This sounds like one big mess that could have been avoided.
Why didn’t you just pay the bill Weezy?!

Not Again: Meek Mill & Wale Take Shots at Each Other Online

Meek Mill and Wale are coming for each other’s throats yet again.
The feud reignited between the label mates when Wale appeared on The Breakfast Club and shared his opinion on the Meek Mill vs Drake beef. Meek promptly responded to Wale’s comment about him “bringing a pencil to a gun fight” with the Canadian rap star, and though most believed the situation would end there, it escalated once again on social media yesterday afternoon.
Underneath a photo of himself on Instagram, Meek Mill wrote “You can’t b friends with someone who want your life…. You can’t break bread with someone who want you slice…. Can’t b on a team with someone who want you to lose…. Can’t b family if it’s gotta b all about you!” He then proceeded to allegedly call his label affiliate a “f#%kboy,” which Wale took to Twitter to respond to. “I can’t fathom how somebody can always assume their envied. Not all of us have the same shallow desires.” He wrote among other tweets.
