Celebrities, media, influencers, family, friends and fans gathered at the Last Kings Flagship store on Melrose starting last Thursday as rapper Tygacelebrated his new apparel collection, Last Kings. The Rack City rapper’s fashion line aims to “mix luxury with affordable street wear,” according to his press release. Speaking of luxury, Tyga spared no expense when taking over the former Christian Audigier store location on Melrose Ave, dropping over $120k on authentic Egyptian decoration and customization fit for a pharaoh…including a custom-made tomb. Reports TMZ:
Tyga doesn’t need drugs to get hieroglyphic … he just dropped $20,000 on an Egyptian-made tomb for his new L.A. store … and it’s pretty rad.
Sources tell us, Tyga spent more than $120,000 decorating the newly-opened Melrose clothing store called Last Kings — the tomb was just a drop in the bucket.
We’re told $100,000 went toward painting the place’s ceilings like the Sistine Chapel — and the remaining money went toward the tomb, as well as a bunch of other Egyptian-made Pharaoh-phernalia … like the black and gold guard statues … and sand.
Yes, Tyga actually paid to import sand from Egypt … and his store is 10 miles from the beach.

Another day, another struggle is becoming an old adage for MC, Azealia Banks. Today, she announced that her Soundcloud page has been deleted after two previous red flags on songs posted.
These days, Twitter has become the proverbial podium that artist use when they want attention. Banks followed suit, saying “So I got a third copyright infringement on my soundcloud via ‘f**k up the fun’ and they terminated my account. All 2million followers, gone.”
It appears that she was more upset over losing the stans she’s amassed over time than one of her largest music platforms tanking.
However, we’re confused as to why a song of hers was flagged on her Soundcloud page. Perhaps this has something to do with Banks being in label limbo after publicly dissing and begging Universal to drop her. The label could be the proverbial Jim Jones to her Max B, which is ironic with her being from Harlem in all.
Nevertheless, while it seems like the New Yorker can’t get a break, we’d like if she directed all disdain to a recording booth. Banks has the obvious talent.
At least she has a sense of humor, as her follow-up tweet read, “Way to f**k up the fun , lol.”

Zdzierak was arrested at a hotel after his girlfriend called police after seeing reports of the robberies and finding two masks and money stained by dye that is used to track robbers, The Cincinnati Enquirer reported.McDowell said his client purchased the masks from SPFXmasks, based in Van Nuys, California. The silicone masks ‘look and behave like real flesh and muscle,’ the company’s website says.
Owner Rusty Slusser said Tuesday his company’s masks are normally bought for movies, Halloween, haunted houses and stage shows, but the Ohio case was not the first time they have been used for criminal purposes.
‘We do not condone any illegal activity with our masks,’ Slusser said.

A brother and sister from Chicago are finally getting some well-deserved justice to the tune of $37 million after enduring a wrongful arrest and brutal beating at the hands of Chicago police officers when they were teenagers nearly a decade ago.

A federal jury has awarded $3.7 million to two brothers and a sister who said they were beaten and falsely charged by rogue Chicago police officers who were assigned to a corrupt Special Operations Section kin 2004.
The case stemmed from the arrest of Seneca Adams, 20, in front of his home on Sept. 14, 2004. His brother, Tari Adams, 18, and his twin sister, Sicara Adams, went to check on him and found that he was being held by members of the department’s Special Operations Section in a secluded area behind the Cook County Jail, according to their lawsuit.
When the brother and sister attempted to ask the officers about their brother, Tari Adams was punched by an officer and she and her younger brother left the jail, the lawsuit stated.
As they sat at a stop light blocks from their home, a squad car rammed into their car, they contended. They were able to make it home, but officers quickly arrested both of them, according to the lawsuit. Both Seneca Adams and Tari Adams said they were beaten in the officers and produced photographs taken later that night and the next day showing bruises and cuts on their faces.
While beating Seneca Adams, officers repeatedly called him a “monkey” and a “n—–.”
Senaca and Tari Adams accused the officers of filing false charges against them. Seneca Adams spent 204 days in Cook County Jail before raising enough money to be bonded out. Tari Adams was jailed for 46 days.
“They are happy, relieved,’’ lead attorney Christopher R. Smith said of the brothers and sister. “This is a great moment for them but it’s not over by any stretch. Their lives were flipped on end.’’
Seneca and Tari now reside in Arizona. Their sister Sicara still lives in Chicago with her two children. She was four months pregnant with one of them when the officer hit her car, he said. She and the child did not suffer any physical injuries, Smith added.
“These young people were amazing in how they dealt with this situation and how they were victorious. This is a mountain to climb,’’ Smith said. “They felt so dehumanized by the whole process.”

Stevie J To Appear In Court Over $1 Million Of Unpaid Child Support
(Street Life City News) Another day and another reality TV star is called out for lack of child support. Today (February 21), Steven A. “Stevie J” Jordan was served a subpoena to appear in Family Court over unpaid child support payments.
Stevie was served the subpoena at his new restaurant, “Sleazy & Zino” by Project Child Support, a foundation which helps custodial parents with collections. The subpoena stipulates that Stevie must provide a recent pay stub, W-2 wage and tax documents with most recent filed federal and state income tax returns. This stipulation could change the conditions of his child support payment as Bennett, in an interview with The Urban Daily in November, alleged that Stevie was using duplicitous tactics to avoid paying more child support:
Another thing is that a lot of his monies were being kept in businesses. When you change the name, it’s hard to continue to track those businesses. He changes the business name every two years. Also, he moves money and puts it in other peoples’ names. That’s what I think is happening. That’s what I’ve come up with because he does have companies.
Back in October of 2013, Carol Bennett sued Stevie J for over $1 million in back taxes and accused him of missing over 160 payments by November of 2013. Mom Sentenced 6 Years For Sex With Son’s Pre-Teen Friend
A Fountain Valley woman who admitted to having sex with her son’s 12-year-old friend was sentenced Friday to six years in prison.
Patricia Serrano, 45, must register as lifetime sex offender after pleading guilty in a Santa Ana courtroom to three charges of lewd acts on a child under 14.
The sexual abuse came to light when the victim’s mother found Serrano in a locked bathroom with her son in 2011 and reported the incident to police. Serrano twice had sex with the boy in her home and in a car, according to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.
The Fountain Valley Police Department arrested Serrano Nov. 1, 2011.
In a separate but related case, Serrano had pleaded guilty Jan. 6 to one felony count of forgery and one misdemeanor count of attempted petty theft, according to the DA’s office.
Serrano had drafted a letter to her employer on fake DA’s office letterhead in an attempt to get paid for a day of missed work. The letter, which misspelled a prosecutor’s name, falsely indicated the Serrano had been in court.
Serrano’s employer contacted the DA’s office about the letter.

For the first time since he announced his departure from Interscope Records, 50 Cent discusses details of his new deal and how it was supposed to happen.
According to the article, 50 Cent says that his deal at Caroline/Capitol/UMG is similar to Birdman’s Cash Money Records deal with Universal Music Group. Birdman’s Cash Money Records gives only “7% of wholesale per album to Universal in exchange for distribution and support” according to the article.
50 Cent still owed Interscope Records one more record under his contract but was able to leave the label without making the album or paying Interscope. 50 says usually this rarely happens for artists, but due to his relationship with Interscope powerhouses, Eminem and Dr. Dre, 50 is a “special case”:
I’m a special case and situation. It’s also because of the leverage of having the strong relationships with Eminem and Dr. Dre. They don’t want me to be uncomfortable. They value our friendship to the point that they would never want [to jeopardize] it over that little bit of money.
The biggest difference between 50 Cent’s Interscope deal and his Caroline/Capitol/UMG deal is the creative control over his release of new music and music videos. 50 says with Carolione/Capitol/UMG “it’s having the ability to do that versus, ‘It’s out of the question.’”

(Street Life City News) Well, that was rather quick. Less than a month after the original broke the record for the biggest January opening weekend ($47.8 million), the sequel to Ride Along has been confirmed to be in the works.
According to Deadline, Ride Along 2 will have the same director (Tim Story) and scriptwriters (Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi) as the original. Rumors of negotiations for Ride Along 2 surfaced last April, nine months before the original premiered in January.
Ride Along, made on a $25 million budget, has already grossed over $120 million worldwide in less than six weeks. Deadline reports that only 3% ($3.6 million) of Ride Along‘s international gross comes from foreign box offices. In effort to increase their international revenue, Ride Along 2 will reportedly include more multicultural characters.

Andrea Kelly, the singers former better half, says kelly has missed the $20,833 per-moth support due.
The singer also fell behind last year for more than $100,000, but brought the payments current.
The singer also faces jail time if he fails to appear at a separate child-custody date on March 27 after missing the first November assignment, A judge said the singer could get 30 days to six months in jail if he fails to appear.
A source told the New York Post that the situation is serious for the embattled singer.
“The judge was clear in November that he wasn’t happy R. Kelly didn’t show up. His lawyer is worried the judge could lock Kelly up if he doesn’t show this time, but he can’t reach his client,” a source told the paper.
