Kanye West’s “Yeezus Tour” Named Second Highest Grossing Tour
(Street Life City News) Despite a tour bus accident, cancelled shows, and almost daily headlines about one of his rants, Kanye West first solo tour in five years came in at number two on Billboard’s Hot Tours ranking. The Yeezus Tour ticket sales brought in $25.2 million, placing Ye behind only Paul McCartney’s $40,699,470 haul for his Out There! Tour.Kanye’s North American trek sold 283,241 tickets during its run. The top money-making stop was Madison Square Garden. The Yeezus Tour made over $3 million from its two dates at the New York City venue. Kanye recently ended the tour in Toronto where he brought out Drake to perform two songs for his hometown crowd.

Crazy Bitch Attacks Boyfriend With a Knife Because He Wouldn’t Cuddle
A 31-year-old Bradenton, Fla. woman was charged with domestic battery after she attacked her live-in boyfriend with a kitchen knife because he wouldn’t cuddle. They had been drinking in their home prior to the incident.
An argument started early Saturday when the man refused to “cuddle” with Rumph when they went to bed, according to a probable cause affidavit filed in the case.
The argument turned physical when Rumph grabbed the man’s shirt, causing it to tear.
The man tried to leave the apartment, but Rumph didn’t want him to leave.
“At one point during the argument Shavonna had picked up a kitchen knife as if she was going to use it to hurt or stab” her boyfriend, but the man told deputies he was not worried about being hurt, according to the report.
In the report, Rumph is quoted as telling deputies: “We got into an argument because (her boyfriend) would not cuddle with me.”
Rumph faces a charge of misdemeanor domestic battery. She was released from jail Sunday on a $250 bond.

WTF News: Thief Gives Back Stolen Cell Because it’s a Flip Phone
People might give you the side eye for having a flip phone but the good news is, you probably won’t get robbed for it. Kevin Cook, a New York City resident, was mugged at gunpoint in Central Park Saturday but the robber was so upset that Cook had a flip phone that he gave it back, reports the New York Post.
“Once he saw my phone, he looked at it like, ‘What the fucc is this?’ and gave it back to me,” Cook told the Post. He said his phone was a third generation Windows phone.
Around 40 percent of robberies in major American cities involve cell phones, the Federal Communications Commission reports. Many thieves in the U.S. and internationally go for iPhones to resell them. Reselling stolen cell phones is a $30 billion underground business, and Apple’s phones are most sought-after, especially in New York.
Bill de Blasio said he will urge smartphone manufacturers make kill switches that would render phones unusable after they’re stolen.There’s been talk about kill switches for a while now. Hopefully they really go into affect, that would serve a low down crook right.

Kanye West Plans To Stop Making Controversial Statements For 6 Months
(Street Life City) With the North American leg of his Yeezus tour coming to a close, the King of Controversy Kanye West claims he is giving up his throne for at least six months. During one of his stream of consciousness speeches at his Toronto concert, the G.O.O.D. Music leader said he will stop making controversial statements for the first half of 2014.
“This might be the last time y’all hear me talk shit for a long time. Might be another like six months. At least,” Ye told the crowd. “You’re just gonna have to run back the interviews and s**t if you wanna hear some realness.”
Kanye has made numerous headlines over the last several months. He “beefed” with Jimmy Kimmel, called out the CEO of Nike, told Sway Calloway he didn’t have the answers, criticized the Grammys for only getting two nominations, upset some people in the Jewish community, and compared his job to the work of police officers and soldiers.
The “New Slaves” rhymer goes on to say that 2014 will be a year where he focuses all his energy on new ideas, and he will not speak negatively about anyone again including Nike and the Grammys.
“I’m not finna be the dude that has all the opportunities in the world and just focuses on negative and complains about it,” added Ye. “This is the last time you’ll ever hear me say anything negative about anyone.

Karrine Steffans To Produced New “Vixen” Show For Fox Network
(Street Life City) Karrine Steffans is best known as the former video model tagged as “Superhead” and the author of the Hip Hop tell-all book Confessions of a Video Vixen. Now the 35-year-old businesswomen is looking to cross over into television work as well.
Speaking with Shay Diddy of 106.1 KMEL, Steffans revealed that she pitched a “Confessions of a Video Vixen” T.V. series to Fox Television Studios. The show was reportedly greenlit and currently in pre-production. While, Steffans will be producing the program, she will not appear on screem.
“We just brought our writer on. I’m going to check him out in the new year to see if I like him. If so, then we’ll go ahead and move forward with our pilot and start production on that this year,” announced Steffans. “I hate cameras. I don’t like taking pictures. I really, really don’t.”
Steffans also speaks on Lil Wayne being the inspiration for her 2013 book How To Make Love To A Martian. According to best-selling writer the Young Money boss taught her “how to love a person.”

Jim Jones’ Fiancee Chrissy Lampkin Arrested For Assault

Jim Jones’ fiancee Chrissy Lampkin reverted back to her old ways earlier this morning (December 29th). According to TMZ, Lampkin was arrested for assaulting a woman at New Jersey bar.
While no specifics regarding the victim’s age, name or physical appearance were disclosed, it was revealed that Lampkin’s assault bloodied the woman’s eye and was hospitalized. Lampkin was arrested for aggravated assault and disorderly conduct by Edgewater, NJ police.
Jim Jones picked up his fiancee from the police station as she was released.
This is not Chrissy’s first fist fight. During Season 2 of VH1’s Love & Hip Hop, Lampkin assaulted Juelz Santana’s girlfriend Kimbella Vanderhee after Kimbella informed Fabolous’ then ex-girlfriend Emily Bustamante that she dated him while Emily was pregnant. When will black people ever learn smfh.
