Streetlife President Nyne Millirachi Puts Jay-z And Nas Over Biggie And Pac As All Time Greats
The problem with Hip Hop today is majority of you so called die hard hip hop fans, are fickle and ya really dont know what good music is. You idiots know nothing about classics. Biggie And Pac solidified themselves in Hip Hop forever. They will always be recognized for the work they put in; but in my opinion, if you’re under 31-32, you have no say so in the Biggie And Pac era, because you niggas was too young to understand the ramification of that history. I pick Jay-z And Nas, because let’s face it, pound for pound, those are the two kings of NY. If a rapper from NY tells you he didnt grow up on Jay or Nas, he’s a fuccing liar. Every rapper aspires to be like Jay, when it comes to following his following his blueprint. And like Nas said in his classic song of 2001′s Ether: “Name A Rapper That I AInt Influence”. Those are bold but yet very truthful statements, cause Nas definately influenced me to be one of the most lyrical assassin of this generation. He even had J.cole dedicate an entire song to him, talking bout he let down Nas. And no rapper can outmatch Jay’s wittiness and creativity on a tracc. Jay can just talk to you on the tracc and say simple shit like “Nigga shipped two million then I blew to three/ Then I skated on four, before I went on tour/ I came bacc in this game, ya niggas aint rapping the same/ Fucc the flow, ya jaccing our slang/” and make this shit a hip hop quoteable. Jay had niggas biting his style, copying his swag, he’s set so much trends in the industry, its not even funny. He literally made niggas stop wearing Jerseys, if this aint an influential nigga who is then.
Jay made a song called Open Letter, where he addresses the politicians at the white house, and within hours, Jay Carney and his conglomarete’s is holding a press conference about it. This is pure power at it’s finest. And out of all the classic albums out there, name me one album that’s as raw, and pure hip hop, and deep like Nas’s Illmatic. Ofcourse Pac had classics under his belt, All Eyes On Me, Makevelli, Etc, but Pac was more of a Poet that painted great pictures with his lyrics. But on a lyrical level he wasnt touching Nas. Nas was more sharper with the poetic shit, and Nas really painted the pictures of the ghettos in NYC. They both was influential in their own right. But I feel like Nas connected more lyrcially. Hands down, Nasir Jones is the greatest lyricist of all time. Jay on the other hand, even though he was sharp lyrically, I look at him more for his success and his accolades in Hip Hop. Now you take Jay’s success with Nas lyricism, you have created an Icon that will never be duplicated ever in rap history. Biggie will always be top 5 of all time. He was talking that shit, you young niggas is just now learning bacc in the mid 90s. Biggie been had that Coogi-Versace swag, before you new bum ass rappers came out, thinking ya invented that shit. So when you clowns copy cat Biggie’s image, make sure you give all the credits to Christopher Wallace for his contribution to the Hip Hop Community. And always acknowledge Pac for the real nigga he always was. So all this Kanye West I have no fear to say what I want talk. The difference is Kanye is ranting for media attention. Pac was really a revolutionary who morals and principles. And forever I salute that nigga for the gangsta he truly was. Amen.
