(Street Life City News) Chicago native Chief Keef has some people in the state of New Jersey heated. A few bars on Sosa’s track “Faneto” were taken as a diss toward the Garden State.

“I’m riding through New York. Finna go and shoot New Jersey up. Tryna take my chain I ain’t going through it. We gonna come and blow New Jersey up,’ rapped Keef.

According to reports, someone tried to steal Keef’s chain at a club outside Newark, and the lines on “Faneto” were seen as the Bang 3 rapper’s response to the alleged culprits. That caused men claiming to be a set of the Grape Street Crips gang to record a video banning Keef from reentering the state.

“Jersey don’t love you,” one man says directed at Chief Keef. “You get no money in my state. F**k you Chief.”

“Faneto” even got a response from Jersey-based battle rapper Tsu Surf who also claims membership in the Crips. Surf addressed the situation on Twitter.

Goodz came at Cassidy’s neck in his new diss track, “Bird Ass Nigga.”

For those who don’t know, Cassidy and Goodz have history.  They battled each other years ago, and surely both men would argue that they were the victor in that clash, but most recently, Goodz and Cass exchanged words on stage at Summer Madness 4.  Goodz challenged Cassidy to battle him right there on the spot, which Cassidy rejected and stated that he would only do it if the “chicken” is right.

Since then, Cass released a diss record airing out his thoughts on a variety of Battle Rappers in his “Mr Chicken” diss track, which included shots at Goodz.  In this song, Goodz fired off loads of bars at Cassidy to really make his point be known that he thinks Cassidy is below him when it comes to crafting bars and battling in the ring.

If history repeats itself, you can expect a response from Cassidy in the near future.

Back when Soulja Boy was arrested in January for driving with the possession of a firearm, things weren’t looking too good for the “Crank That” rapper. Former Baltimore Raven star Ray Rice was recently kicked off of his team and suspended from the NFL due to footage surfacing of him knocking out his wife, Janay Palmer, in an Atlantic City elevator. While the court of public opinion is tearing down the athlete, Rice has made a statement about that night, claiming that alcohol fueled his rage. Rice admitted that when he drinks hard liquor he becomes “a different person” and has since cleaned up his act, giving up the hard stuff in exchange for wine.

He and wife Janay have also reportedly gotten deep into religion since the February incident, with both of them being baptized in March and becoming born-again Christians. The pair has also reportedly been attending Christian based couples counseling along with some fellow NFL players and their wives.

Floyd Mayweather announced that after his rematch with Marcos Maidana this weekend he’ll only be fighting two more times before he calls it quits.

“I only got two more fights left [after Saturday] and after the next two fights I just want to build the Mayweather Promotions brand,” Mayweather said, according to ESPN. “My next fight is in May and my last fight is in September, so a year from now will be my last fight.”

Veteran Harlem Battle Rapper T-Rex took some major shots at Keith Murray, Fredro Starr, and Sticky Fingaz in a recent interview with ThisIs50.  While there are an abundance of Battle Rap fans who are eager to see the clash between Keith Murray and Fredro, Rex is not at all excited for the match and actually warned them to “stay in their lane.”

“We took it to a whole other level,” Rex said.  “They voiced their opinion on Total Slaughter. Now I’m gonna voice my opinion on y’all.  Let’s just be honest.
