If you have looked and studied Cam’ron, you know he’s working on some serious stuff. He’s got capes, shoes and Dipset clothing coming. Hell, he’s even got this:

Cam’ron has something else poppin. You know this woman?

This is Yandy Smith. She’s the fly former manager of Jim Jones. She’s also a wheeler and dealer that’s married (or something) to Mendeecees Harris. Anyway, the point is, Yandy is making a big play for TV, perhaps a younger Mona Scott Young? Just saying. Anyway, the real point is that Yandy is rumored to be producing a TV Show for Cam’ron and his girlfriend JuJu. Do you know JuJu? She and Cam are all over Instagram together.

Well, I am hearing the reality show is going to look something like this.

I don’t know much else, but I am hearing it will be full of entertaining exploits that will be perfect for TV.

(Street Life City News) Schoolboy Q is either experiencing major label growing pains or may have some regrets about his rap career.
In an interview with Hartford, Conneticut’s Hot 93.7, Q states that TDE no longer does mixtapes and instead only commercially released albums. Q then goes on to say tha he “did wrong by signing a rap contract”:
I’m not talking about TDE, but how we ventured off with the majors. I wish we would have still stayed indie. I don’t care about being on like 100 radios or shit like that. I love Interscope, but I wish I could have just stayed with TDE.
In a recent interview with Grantland, writer Amos Barshad stated that Interscope’s desire for radio-ready singles is what led to Oxymoron‘s delay:
He’d planned on only one radio-friendly song on the album, jamming the rest of the track list with his raw goods. But Interscope demanded three singles before he could get the green light — which, perhaps, is why it’s taken more than two years sinceHabits & Contradictions for Oxymoron to see release

(Street Life City News) While he may be estranged from his former group mates and label, 50 Cent can count on one man to be in his corner: Sha Money XL. This past Thursday (March 6th), the former President of G-Unit took to his personal Instagram account to denounce Steve Stoute’s disparaging remarks about 50 Cent’s relevancy.
In one Instagram photo of 50 Cent and himself on the videoshoot for “In Da Club”, Sha’s picture caption mentions Stoute’s initial eagerness to be apart of G-Unit Records. In the picture (below) the part of the caption reads:
Ps. tell Stoute he can’t count 50 out. He was the 1st one chasing us to get some of that G Unit money so Tan that political shit.

Steve Stoute has not responded to Sha’s Instagram post of yet.

(Street Life City News) It looks like 2014 will be another big year for rap’s major cliques. With Rick Ross’ Mastermind nearly a week in stores and projected to move solid numbers, Meek Mill recently announced the title for his sophomore LP.
Meek practically lives in the studio, and he isn’t hesitant to preview what he’s working on via Instagram. But now fans finally have something concrete to sink their teeth into.
“Yo, what up? It’s your boy Meek Mill right here at Revolt, live letting y’all know my new album coming this summer, Dreams Worth More Than Money,” the Philadelphia native said with Diddy backing him.
YMCMB has already put their elaborate plans for 2014 in motion, and it looks like MMG have a similar agenda. From what we gather, Wale is also working on his fourth studio album. Looks like MMG has officially dominated the rap game.

JUSTICE Lennox Campbell yesterday completed the first day of summation in the Vybz Kartel murder trial, a day that saw United States-based rap stars Busta Rhymes and Spliff Star present in the number two courtroom of the Home Circuit Court where the matter is being tried.
Outside the courtroom, Busta Rhymes greeted and spoke with relatives of Vybz Kartel before leaving. He returned in the afternoon after court was adjourned and it was expected that he had planned on visiting with Vybz Kartel yesterday. However, efforts by local journalists to get comments from the rap star were unsuccessful.

Campbell’s summation to the 11-member panel of jurors, who are to decide the fate of the dancehall artiste and his four co-accused, started minutes after 10:00 am and was marked by meticulous attention to the details of the prosecution’s case. The judge took his time repeating certain strong points of the prosecution’s case to a jury that seemed at times weary.
On the other hand, Campbell seemed to have dealt with the defence’s case in a cursory manner, which at one point caused attorney Tom Tavares-Finson to rise to his feet to clarify an issue concerning a voice supposedly of his client on electronic evidence presented during the trial.
Campbell told the jurors that the artiste never denied that the voice was his.
“You said that the accused didn’t deny the voice was his. But the accused is saying that the voice was manipulated,” said Tavares-Finson, pointing out that the way it was explained by the judge was unfair to his client.

Campbell then briefly told the jurors that the artiste had, indeed, claimed that the voice on the recordings were “spliced” or “manipulated”. However, the judge proceeded to point out to the jurors that they have heard the artiste’s voice and will have to determine whether the voice attributed to him had been manipulated.
At another point, Justice Campbell told jurors that they would have to ask themselves why the accused would invite Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams — the man whose alleged murder the five accused are being tried for — to a darkened house and pointed out to them that the walls were high and no one could see into the yard from outside.
Following the luncheon adjournment, Tavares-Finson was again forced to interrupt Campbell during his summation of the evidence of the girlfriend of Williams. Campbell had been quoting the content of text messages believed to have been sent between Williams and his girlfriend on August 16, 2011 — the day on which Williams was believed to have been killed — when Tavares-Finson told the judge that the content of the text messages were not entered into evidence through her.
Vybz Kartel, whose real name is Adidja Palmer; Shawn Campbell, popularly known as Shawn Storm; Shane Williams; Andre St John; and Kahira Jones have been on trial since last year over allegations that they beat Clive Williams to death at Vybz Kartel’s Havendale, St Andrew home over the disappearance of two illegal guns.
Yesterday, Campbell started his summation by telling the jurors that the first main issue they have to determine in the case is whether or not Clive Williams is dead.
Justice Campbell said that there is no direct “I see” evidence in the case, but added that death can be proven by circumstantial evidence, which he listed as the fact that neither Williams’ girlfriend nor his sister has heard from him since August 16, among other things.
“If there is any doubt, you must acquit,” he told the jurors.
Campbell also cautioned them not to speculate, but to ground their judgement on the evidence presented. “You are bound by the evidence alone,” he instructed as he cautioned jurors not to allow feelings of sympathy to cloud their judgement.
“You can have no sympathy for the accused men or for Clive Williams,” he said.
Justice Campbell told the jurors that they can’t use the fact that Jamaica is plagued by crime against the accused men.
He also cautioned them not to take Vybz Kartel’s music or the evidence of “locking of guns” into consideration in arriving at their verdict.
“People’s morals are not on trial,” said Justice Campbell.
The judge briefly addressed the defence’s claim of a conspiracy. He will continue his summation of the case today.
“50 Cent terrorized the streets of Fort Greene, Brooklyn and its surrounding areas. Often known to carry a Colt .45 and .357 Magnum, like a modern day Billy “The Kid”, the “little man” put fear into the hearts of local residents during what was the height of the crack cocaine epidemic. It’s rumored that 50 Cent murdered some 30 individuals. Eventually, 50 Cent’s exploits caught up with him.
Rapper 50 Cent, who allegedly did his hustling on the street of Jamaica, Queens, is interviewed for the documentary and discusses why “the streets” were talking about his namesake and why he assumed the name of the Brooklyn gangster.”

Boosie is a free man.
Now that Boosie is released, we will be on the lookout for new music.
According to WAFB:
Rap Artist Lil Boosie was released from the Louisiana State Penitentiary in Angola Wednesday night.
Angola State Penitentiary Warden Burl Cain confirms the rapper, who is legally named Torrence Hatch, was released at 7:10 p.m. He was transferred to a sheriff’s department facility in St. Francisville where family members were waiting for him.
A native of Baton Rouge, the rapper has fans worldwide who have commonly used the term “Free Boosie” since his incarceration.
Boosie has been serving prison time on drug charges since 2009. The Louisiana Department of Corrections Wednesday afternoon had the rapper’s official release date listed as May 20, 2014.
In 2012, the rapper went on trial for murder but was found not guilty. Prosecutors called more than two dozen witnesses in the trial but a jury rendered a verdict after just one hour of deliberating. He was accused of hiring a man to kill a local rap artist.
Lil Boosie is scheduled to attend a news conference in New Orleans Monday, organized by Atlantic Records.
We hope Boosie can stay out of trouble.

Here we go againnnnnnnnnn…….
Nicki Minaj…she’s a pro at getting our attention in the worst or best way. She posted a series of shower images…for what reason? Nobody really knows. But, for your enjoyment…here they go.

Lamar forgot to pay for his crack rocks?
If this is true, Lammy needs to watch his back.
According to TMZ:
Lamar Odom’s drug dealers could be linked to the $250,000 jewelry heist at Lamar and Khloe’s house … because we’re told the dealers threatened to break in to get the money Lamar never paid.
Multiple sources involved in Lamar’s drug deals last year tell TMZ … Lamar wasn’t paying his tab. In fact, our sources say he was in the hole $15K to just one dealer back in Sept. and he owed another more than $40K.
Lamar would fend them off by saying he was loaded and therefore good for it. He would also justify not paying from time to time because the quality of the drugs was “wack.”
We’re told Lamar owed 10s of thousands of dollars to drug dealers when he left for Spain last month.
Now the plot thickens. We’re told Lamar was getting text messages threatening his safety and also warning him they would break into his home to get even.
Cops don’t know who stole the expensive jewelry but we’re told there was no sign of forced entry. One source says he has reason to believe one of the dealers had connections to someone who works for the family and had lawful access to the house.
10s of thousands of dollars? Dayum, how much crack rock did he smoke?

You either love Tyler Perry, or you hate him. There doesn’t seem to be any in-between. That’s why when he was spotted shaking Lupita Nyong’o’s hand at the Oscars, everyone started freaking out. Tweeters gathered around to start prayer vigils to keep her out of his movies and everything. Damn, is it that serious?
We guess so…the tweets are still hilarious though.

(Street Life City News) First it was Steve Stoute saying 50 Cent is no longer “influential.” Now Rick Ross is saying the G-unit leader is “irrelevant.” Ross’ latest jab at his longtime rival comes after 50 posted (then deleted) a picture on Instagram suggesting Ross, Stoute, and Sean “Diddy” Combs were gay.
TMZ apparently spoke with sources in the Ross camp, and they say theMastermind rapper is not going to respond to 50′s IG post. The site claims Rozay is focusing on his music and not on someone who he sees as insignificant.
The two rappers were engaged in a feud in 2009 that included disses in songs, videos, and interviews. 50 Cent is currently involved in a lawsuit with the mother of Ross’ child as result of the back-and-forth.
Lastonia Leviston accuses 50 of uploaded a video to the internet of her having sex with another man. She claims it was done as a way to humiliate Ross.
