Hip-Hop Rumors: WHAT? 50 Cent and Rick Ross Collaborating RIGHT NOW?

As you may or may not know, All-Star Weekend is in full swing in New Orleans. This means every rapper, baller, fake baller, industry person, skank, thot, and homeless person is down there trying to make something happen. Some people are just having fun thought. But, there of something else brewing that most people don’t know. Sources have revealed to me that 50 Cent and Rick Ross are working on an 11th hour song to be added to Rozay’s Masterpiece album, that drops on March 4. YUP. This is going down, y’all. Now, there may be some variation on this rumor like its for a DJ Khaled song or something, but its SOMETHING. I know Khaled is there too, so that’s just why I said it MAY be for something else. Looks like Rick Ross is ending beefs with everybody. Remember what these guys were going through? It takes real forgiveness to get past what they went through years ago. No need to rehash THAT.

The Rap Battle Of The Sexes Has Officially Begun.

Whoever said controversy doesn’t sell is a damn liar. No matter how you feel about Nicki, her latest single “Looking Ass Nigga” has created a tremendous buzz in the hip hop community. A lot of pride and ego was damaged after that song was released, but who gives a shit? Whether it was intentional or not, Nicki pulled a Kendrick Lamar move and it certainly worked. To be honest with you, this is what hip hop needs: controversy and competition. Hip Hop was built off competition, battle rap, and creativity.
Instead of hating on Nicki, you niggas need to thank her, especially you corporate fucks that own shares in Facebook, Instagram, and especially Twitter. She’s made social media so much money within the last few days, its ridiculous. Let’s add the fact she made “looking ass” a trending topic. You know an MC has power like Moses when they can drop a record and have the world talk about it more then the blizzard and the Winter Olympics combined. Already at 5 million veiws in three days, how can you say Nicki is not the greatest female M.C. of all time? Look at the impact she’s made in such a short time. She has a following, young girls aspire to be like her, two multiplatinum albums under her belt, and she’s the first female M.C. to make the Hip Hop Cash Queens list on Forbes, taking home 29 million last year alone. Many people may feel her image is negative, style is bizzare, and some of her music is weird as fuck, but you can’t deny her impact on the rap game. Hate her or love her, she’s solidified her spot.

Trey Songz, I don’t even understand why he responded. Since did when you start making diss records dissing bitches, nigga you a ladies man, stop trying to be this Bishop Duan Juan when you know damn well you’re a KC-and-Jojo-hey-lover-ass nigga trying to join the bandwagon. I know your career is lukewarm so I understand why you made the record, but if you’re gonna make a response, make sure the shit is hot brcause that shit was such garbage. I had to call DPW to make a special request to personally remove that traaaaaash off my Iphone. You bad mouthing R.Kelly, dissing the All-Time Greats, calling yourself the greatest R&B singer of all time, but what have you really acheived? You’ve never had a platinum album, nor won any Grammys. You had one classic album but that shit wasn’t no Usher “Confessions”. You’re a D-League player trying to step in the court with the pros, so stay in your lane litte boy. I’m mad as hell because it was his response that gave my website wild veiws. I guess Ladies Love Trigger Tray.

Cassidy by far had the best response, his lyrical ability and his delivery was on point in this song. We all know Cassidy can get busy on that mic, he’s killed a few careers in his past, but from one lyricist to another, Cass used this momentum to make hit records. All you need is a couple hits records to put you back in the game. At the end of the day, being lyrical is cool, it solidifies your spot as being a true MC, but lyrics ain’t getting you show money, lyrics ain’t paying the bills, but hit records are. All that time you spend trying to be the best lyricist you should focus on creating master hooks, and catchy music that’s gonna knock in the clubs, the streets, and the radio stations. Don’t sit here and tell me you don’t care about fame and hit records because if that was the case, you wouldn’t have entertained that song. So its obvious you’re trying to gain some relevancy and if lyrics really mattered, then join one of these rap battle leagues and really showcase your bars.

Needless to say, this was definately good for hip hop. It gets people talking, and your main objective is to get the world to listen to your talent – this formula certainly works. This is what keeps the endorcements coming, keeps the labels interested, makes you the center of attention and gets you in these multimillion dollar bidding wars. DJ’s and radio stations should thank Nicki as well, because she boosted ratings and gave DJ’s a chance to spin new material and keep the crowd going crazy in the club. I just hope this shit doesn’t get carried away to the point where I got to hear a 1,000 irrelevant comebacks and diss records.
This kind of reminds me of the same impact TLC made when they debuted their “No Scrubs” single and the response from Sporty Theives No Pigeon remix had the hip hop community in a frenzy. Now all these bitches and niggas are gonna start using the catch phrase “looking ass” and this is going down in the hip hop history books. All you civil rights activists with your hating and sensitive-ass issues, shut the fuck up, take ya old asses home, take a fucking nap, and cry me a fucking river with your Drake emotions. It’s just music, get over it, she didn’t mean any kind of disrespect towards Malcom whatsoever. Ya’ll just upset because she’s being talked about and the song is gaining her major notoriety so you wanna slander her name to get some airtime. It’s motherfucking please. All the boycott threats and the childish protest shows youre bitter and miserable, it’s 2014, not the 60’s. We have a black president now, get over it and stop bitching with your pointless gripes and antics. I hope to see more classic music as we make history in 2014.
I’m the Streetlife President and I approve this message.
